Join us in making the Thomas M. Menino YMCA Road Race a success! We are looking for enthusiastic, dependable, and community-minded volunteers to help create a fun, safe, and welcoming experience for runners, families, and spectators. Volunteers will play an important role in supporting event operations, encouraging participants, and bringing our community together in celebration of health, wellness, and community spirit. Volunteer Responsibilities May Include: - Event Setup & Breakdown: Assist with setting up tables, signage, registration areas, and event supplies. - Registration & Check-In: Welcome participants, distribute race materials, and assist with check-in. - Course Support: Help direct runners along designated routes and cheer them on throughout the race. - Water Stations: Distribute water and encourage runners along the course. - Start & Finish Line Support: Assist with crowd flow, participant guidance, and post-race activities. - Community Engagement: Welcome attendees, answer questions, and help create a positive event experience.
